BETWEEN WORDS AND WORLDS
RIIKMag is an independent art magazine published by RIIKBERLIN e.V., a non-profit intercultural association based in Berlin.
The magazine was created as a space for artists, writers, filmmakers, and thinkers whose work moves across disciplines, cultures, and perspectives. We are interested in what exists between established categories in moments of transition, uncertainty, transformation, and discovery.
We welcome submissions from independent artists working in all forms, including visual art, photography, film, writing, sound, performance, and interdisciplinary practices.
Each issue is shaped around a central theme and brings together a collection of works that respond to it in different ways. Rather than seeking definitive answers, RIIKMag values curiosity, experimentation, and diverse artistic voices. We are particularly drawn to works that engage with contemporary experience, personal narratives, cultural encounters, and the complexities of our changing world.
RIIKMAG is RIIKBERLIN’s independent publishing platform, bringing together writing, photography, visual art, film, and other creative practices.
We are interested in works that cross disciplines, languages, and cultural contexts. Alongside finished projects, we also welcome experiments, works in progress, and ideas that challenge conventional ways of seeing and thinking.
Through thematic issues and open calls, RIIKMAG aims to provide a space for independent artists, writers, filmmakers, and cultural practitioners to share their work, connect with new audiences, and contribute to ongoing conversations around art, culture, and contemporary life.
